The USS Brattain (NCC-21166) was a Miranda-class science vessel. It was in service in the mid-24th century.
History[]
In the mid-2360's, the ship had a crew compliment of 35.
In 2367, the Brattain disappeared. It was later recovered by the USS Enterprise following a distress call sent 29 days earlier. The ship was soon discovered to have been caught in a Tyken's Rift. Most of the crew members died due to suicidal acts, which were caused by severe REM deprivation.
